Had a wonderful time at Grande Hotel Paris! The unique vintage decor and comfy garden. Just a heads up, the walls are a bit thin, so some noise can creep in. Great spot in Porto!

I greatly enjoyed splendid and exceptionally nice room here.
I was offered a room with particularly good views over the old town. The bed was lovely and bathroom was nice.

Wicked cool stay! The staff? Super friendly, helped me find my lost phone like champs! The vibe of the place is charming, real antique feel. We lucked out with a room that had a balcony facing the garden. Loved it!

This is a real find, an architectural gem of a hotel in the very best overall location in Porto. Breakfast is a splendid affair which can be enjoyed in the magnificent breakfast room or the garden. It is outstanding value for money and the staff are very helpful. You are given a map of the city upon your arrival and they will explain anything you need to know.
If you were less mobile you may find some if the steps within the hotel a little steep. But again the hilly geography of the city centre and omnipresent cobblestones makes it less than an ideal destination for a person with limited mobility.

Great breakfast in an old world hotel that fits in perfectly with the general feel of Porto. Very good location for walking everywhere with no need for transportation,
It's a little difficult to get into the street where the hotel is located because of traffic patterns and there is no parking at the hotel. Unloading the luggage from the car on the narrow street is a bit difficult.

Charming vintage decor with a cozy atmosphere.
I was disappointed upon arrival to find our room lacked basic amenities and the cleanliness was below expectations. The breakfast options were rather limited, surprising given the hotel's reputation. It felt outdated and not as cute as I had hoped, affecting my overall experience.

We liked everything about this hotel. It is well run with friendly and informative staff. Eg they make a point of remembering your room number and giving you your room key without having to ask - nice touch. The rooms are spotlessly clean, breakfast huge and location bang slap in the middle of Porto - easy to get anywhere. Excellent value all round.

There was nothing to not like at the hotel, breakfast was as good as you could wish with every taste catered for, the staff were better than any top hotel you can name nothing would have been to much trouble, the beds were comfortable and the room was spotless, very central situation with all tour bus and trams situated about 150 yds away at the bottom of the street, a great place for a short break and a great change from all the big anonymous chain hotels

This hotel is in a "seedy" looking street(we walked straight past it first time!) but, once onside the building, the hotel, it's staff and everything else is tip top and superb. The breakfast is also exceptionally good and the place is spotless. The big surprise is the lovely garden which you never imagine from the street. Great place to stay, and the oldest hotel in Porto!
Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no worries about that really.

While the decor is charming, the AC system is a hot mess-only works sometimes. Imagine trying to sleep in a sauna. The sickly sweet karaoke noise drifts in at night. What a relaxing ambiance, huh? I expected a complimentary gesture for all this, but clearly, i woudl ve been mistaken to expect anything special. Absolutely disappointing.

The breakfast was tasty and enjoyable with cutlery to be replenished, warm milk, cheeses, you will not be disappointed. The staff were pretty friendly, and the room was impressive and quiet with bathroom.

the service at the hotel was really good , breakfast was lovely. We sat in the lovely garden prior to leaving at 6 clock, booked out in the morning and asked for taxi at the hotel at 6 and it arrived minutes later. The told us off a lovely place to eat. very helpful. the only down size was there is a night club near by, but if you are in the front as we were, you have to have, your window closed. that was only friday and saturday. Such a shame if you are a light sleeper. I'm sure if people ask for a back of the hotel room, they would not have problem. We loved the hotel and its old style, service and position. I would go back.
